RELLENONG PUSIT
INGREDIENTS:
Set A:
1 kg. pusit (squid), cleaned, with head and body separated
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup carrots, chopped
1/2 cup ground pork
1/4 cup pickle relish
1 beaten egg
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Set B:
1 Tbsp. oil
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 cup UFC Tomato Sauce Filipino Style
PROCEDURE:
A. Mix together onion, bell pepper, carrots, ground pork, pickle relish and egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
B. Stuff inside the cavity of the squid body. Reposition the squid head where it should be. Secure in place with a toothpick.
C. Sauté in oil with chopped onion. Pour in UFC Tomato Sauce Filipino Style.

Heirloom recipe ng aming pamilya ang Rellenong Pusit. Minana ko pa ito sa aking mga lolo at lola. Dahil sa Hagonoy kami nakatira, mura at maraming pusit na nabibili. Sa itinagal-tagal ng recipe na ito sa aming pamilya, subok na namin ang UFC Tomato Sauce at bagay na bagay ito sa Rellenong Pusit namin.
