DENR EMB REGION IV-A HONORS NUTRIASIA CABUYAO
TAGAYTAY CITY, PHILIPPINES —Recognizing the Nutriasia’s deep-rooted commitment to environmental responsibility, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) Region IV-A honored the company’s Cabuyao plant with a Plaque of Recognition during the agency’s annual environment summit.
The formal awarding took place during the 2026 Environmental Summit held at the Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City, Cavite. With the theme “Climate Action: Fostering Community Spirit, caring for the Environment,” the summit brought together regional public and private stakeholders to celebrate impactful environmental programs and best practices in water preservation, liquid, and solid waste management.
The commendation celebrates NutriAsia’s proactive approach to integrating sustainable development and responsible environmental practices within its operations. Key representatives from NutriAsia’s management team were present to accept the award during the afternoon ceremonies:
Edsel Anyayahan, Manufacturing Services and EHS Manager, noted: “This recognition from DENR-EMB Region IV-A is a testament to our team’s rigorous dedication to Environmental stewardship. We continually strive to incorporate programs that help preserve the environment in our operations. This includes the revival of the Bring Your Own Bote project – our flagship sustainability initiative and our NAItulong programs in the community which includes our Adopt An Estero program”.
Gonver Valencia, Cabuyao Plant Operations Manager, added: “At our Cabuyao plant, sustainability is not just a policy; it is embedded in our daily operations. Receiving this plaque motivates our entire plant team to keep pushing the boundaries of green manufacturing, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.”
Wally Panganiban, Corporate Affairs Manager, emphasized: “NutriAsia is deeply honored to partner with regulatory bodies like the DENR-EMB Region IV-A in championing ecological responsibility.
