NutriAsia, Inc., the company behind many beloved condiments in Filipino homes, was recognized recently in the Consumer Category of the AsiaStar Awards 2019 for the creative and efficient packaging design of the Datu Puti Stackable Pares PET bottle.
Datu Puti Stackable Pares is a combination of 500ML Vinegar and 500ML Soy Sauce “stacked” to create a 1 Liter bottle with both vinegar and soy sauce. This Datu Puti pack allows customers to store two of their pantry staples, Datu Puti Vinegar and Datu Puti Soy sauce in a convenient and space-saving way.
The AsiaStar Awards is known as “The Packaging Oscar of Asia” and is the only regional packaging accolade in the continent. According to NutriAsia Senior Category Manager Mario Mendoza, “This recognition for packaging excellence underscores NutriAsia’s thrust in giving equal focus and value on packaging and the product. We are in sync with the market’s changing demands and NutriAsia is committed to continue leveling up its product development — as proven by this accolade from the AsiaStar Awards for packaging excellence,”
The AsiaStar Awards is given by the Asian Packaging Federation, a non-profit organisation established in Tokyo, Japan that unites the packaging interests of all trade and industries in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, under one co-operative umbrella.
The Datu Puti Stackable Pares pack also got recognition for Excellence in Packaging Innovation from the Philstar Awards in 2017.
