Runners from Nutriasia Cebu joined hundreds of other running enthusiasts and environment advocates to show their support for sustainability and environmental stewardship in the 2025 Run For the Environment last September 14 at the Hippodromo, Cebu City.
Organized by the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI) Region VII with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) , the event brought together participants from various sectors to promote environmental awareness through active and healthy living. The run featured 1K with dogs,3k, 6k, and 12K categories, encouraging individuals and organizations to take part in a movement that supports both personal wellness and ecological responsibility.
NutriAsia’s participation in the event is part of the company’s broader commitment to sustainability and community engagement. Through its Cebu Plant, the company has been actively involved in environmental initiatives, including tree planting, waste reduction, and other community partnerships with local stakeholders in the region.
Michael Ycong, Environment and Health Officer of NutriAsia Cebu, shared his thoughts on the event:
