INGREDIENTS
Batter:
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 pc. egg
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
Burger Mixture:
- 1/4 kilo ground pork
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 pc. onion
- Cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp. Datu Puti Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. Datu Puti Oyster sauce
- Cooking oil
Sauce:
- 2 tbsps. Datu Puti Soy sauce
- 2 tbsps. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. UFC Banana ketchup
- 1 tbsp. butter
- Cracked black pepper
Sidings:
- Sweet corn
- Carrots
- Baguio beans
- Spring onions
PROCEDURE
- 1. In a small bowl, combine beaten egg, breadcrumbs and evaporated milk. Mix well and set aside.
- 2. In a separate bowl, combine ground pork, garlic, onion, black pepper, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix all the ingredients until well incorporated.
- 3. Add the batter in the meat mixture and continue mixing until it reaches a sticky consistency.
- 4. Heat up oil in a pan. Scoop around ¾ cup of meat mixture and form into a patty. Pan-fry for 3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is achieved.
- 5. In a separate pan, make the barbecue glaze. Put soy sauce, brown sugar, banana catsup, butter and black pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens.
- 6. Transfer the burger patties in the pan with sauce and coat the patties with barbecue sauce.
- 7. Remove from pan and transfer in a serving plate. Put sweet corn, carrots and baguio beans as sidings and garnish with spring onions.
