Burger Steak with BBQ Sauce

INGREDIENTS

Batter:

  1. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  2. 1 pc. egg
  3. 1/2 cup evaporated milk

Burger Mixture:

  1. 1/4 kilo ground pork
  2. 3 cloves minced garlic
  3. 1 pc. onion
  4. Cracked black pepper
  5. 1 tsp. Datu Puti Soy sauce
  6. 1 tbsp. Datu Puti Oyster sauce
  7. Cooking oil

Sauce:

  1. 2 tbsps. Datu Puti Soy sauce
  2. 2 tbsps. brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp. UFC Banana ketchup
  4. 1 tbsp. butter
  5. Cracked black pepper

Sidings:

  1. Sweet corn
  2. Carrots
  3. Baguio beans
  4. Spring onions

PROCEDURE

  • 1. In a small bowl, combine beaten egg, breadcrumbs and evaporated milk. Mix well and set aside.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, combine ground pork, garlic, onion, black pepper, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix all the ingredients until well incorporated.
  • 3. Add the batter in the meat mixture and continue mixing until it reaches a sticky consistency.
  • 4. Heat up oil in a pan. Scoop around ¾ cup of meat mixture and form into a patty. Pan-fry for 3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is achieved.
  • 5. In a separate pan, make the barbecue glaze. Put soy sauce, brown sugar, banana catsup, butter and black pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  • 6. Transfer the burger patties in the pan with sauce and coat the patties with barbecue sauce.
  • 7. Remove from pan and transfer in a serving plate. Put sweet corn, carrots and baguio beans as sidings and garnish with spring onions.
