Ingredients:
- 1 kg ( 2 pc) puso ng saging (red- saba variety )
- 200 g pork, sliced
- 1 medium red onion, sliced
- 1 small ginger, sliced
- 1 small ginger, sliced
- 1 pack (4 g) WOW Sarap All-in-One Seasoning Granules
- 2 packs (45 g each) UFC Ready Recipes Gata Mix, dissolved in 1 to 2 cups meat broth or water
- 1/2 tsp UFC Ground Pepper
- JUFRAN Thai Fish Sauce (to taste)
- ½ tsp JUFRAN Red Hot Chili Sauce (optional)
Procedure :
- 1. Trim puso ng saging to remove hard outer layer (2 to 3 layers). Cut into two and remove the core (hard middle part). Slice into strips. Soak in warm water to avoid darkening .
- 2. Boil enough water. Add drained puso ng saging. Boil for 25 minutes. Drain and cool. Squeeze a bit. Set aside.
- 3. Saute pork until oil comes out. Add onion, ginger and sili. Saute for 2 minutes.
- 4. Add WOW Sarap Seasonings , UFC Gata Mix and UFC Pepper. Season with JUFRAN Fish Sauce and Hot Sauce to taste. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
- 5. Add puso ng saging. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally .
