INGREDIENTS:
- 200 – 300 g Chicken Fillet (breast or thigh)
- 2 Tbsp Datu Puti Oyster Sauce
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 rice cup (takal) rice, washed
- 1 ½ rice cup (takal) water
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 10 g ginger, strips
- 1 small stalk onion leeks (optional)
- 1 tsp (half pack) Wow Sarap All-in-One Seasoning Granules (8 g)
Sauces on the side:
Datu Puti Oyster Sauce
- 10 g ginger, shredded
- 1 tsp sesame oil
*Note: Rice cup, commonly known as takal, is a 180 mL cup usually included with rice cookers.
PROCEDURE:
- Coat chicken fillet with Datu Puti Oyster Sauce and sesame oil. Set aside.
- In a rice cooker pot, dump rice, water and other ingredients (except for sauce ingredients).
- Lastly, place coated and marinated chicken fillet on top.
- Cover rice cooker. Plug and press cook. Cook for 20 minutes or until rice and chicken are fully cooked.
- Sauce: Mix shredded ginger and sesame oil. Enjoy as sauce for the chicken along with Datu Puti Oyster Sauce.
