Rice Cooker Kiampong

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • ½ rice cup (takal) UFC Shiitake Mushroom (50 g), drained
  • 25 g or ½ pc chorizo / Chinese Sausage
  • 10 g ginger, strips
  • 20 g pork belly, sliced or leftover pork

 

  • 2 Tbsp adobong mani
  • 1 stalk (50 g) mustasa

 

*Note: Rice cup, commonly known as takal, is a 180 mL cup usually included with rice cookers.

 

PROCEDURE:

  1. In a rice cooker pot, dump all ingredients except for adobong mani and mustasa.
  2. Cover rice cooker. Plug and press cook. Cook for 18 – 20 minutes, usually when the rice cooker switches to “warm” mode.
  3. Add adobong mani and mustasa. Cover and rest for 2 minutes to allow mustasa to cook.
  4. Mix then serve.
