SWEET AND SOUR PORK
- 250 grams Pork kasim, sliced thinly
- 1 tsp Liquid Seasoning
- 1 cup Water with 4 pieces ice cubes
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Golden Fiesta Palm Oil
SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE
- 2 Tbps Datu Puti Vinegar
- ½ cup UFC Banana Catsup
- ¼ cup Pineapple tidbits
- ½ cup Water
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tsp Liquid Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Golden Fiesta Palm Oil
- 1 pc Onion, quartered
- ½ pc Red bell pepper, seeded and cut into triangles
- ½ pc Green bell pepper, seeded and cut into triangles
PREPARATION
- 1. Season pork kasim with Liquid Seasoning. Set aside for 30 minutes
- 2. Prepare the Sweet and Sour Sauce by heating Datu Puti Vinegar, UFC Banana Catsup, pineapple tidbits, water, brown sugar, liquid seasoning, and cornstarch water in a pan.
- 3. Boil until it thickens. Set aside
- 4. Dip pork in ice water then flour. Repeat two times.
- 5. Heat Golden Fiesta Palm Oil in a deep pot, and then fry pork until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- 6. In a separate pan, heat Golden Fiesta Palm Oil and sauté onion, red and green bell peppers. Toss fried pork into the Sweet and Sour Pork Sauce until evenly coated.
- 7. Add sautéed vegetables.
