INGREDIENTS:
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 pc medium onion, sliced
- 200 g chicken breast or thigh fillet, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 pc chicken bouillon cube
- 2 tbsp Golden Fiesta Palm Oil
- 1/2 cup UFC Garden Fresh Mushroom, pieces and stem, drained
- 1/2 cup UFC Fresh Selections Whole Kernel Corn, drained
- 1 pack (4 g) Wow Sarap all-in-one seasoning granules
- 1 pc small red bell pepper, diced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 1 tbsp Datu Puti Patis Flavor
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
- 1/4 tsp white pepper, ground
- 2 tbsp butter [Thickener]
- 1 tbsp oil [Thickener]
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour [Thickener]
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk [Thickener]
- 12 pcs sliced bread (loaf) [Thickener]
PROCEDURE:
1. Sauté garlic, onion, chicken, and chicken cube in oil until chicken is light brown.
2. Add mushroom, corn, seasoning granules, bell pepper, celery, and fish sauce. Cook for 5 minutes. Add chicken broth and white pepper, let it boil and simmer.
3. In another pan, melt butter with 1 tbsp of oil. Stir in flour. Mix until well combined. Then, gradually add milk while stirring until thickened.
4. Add to the chicken mixture. Allow to simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
