INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 kg chicken breast fillet, strip
- 1 tbsp Datu Puti fish sauce
- 1 cup ice water
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups Golden Fiesta palm oil
- 1/2 cup water [Sauce]
- 2 tbsp UFC banana catsup [Sauce]
- 2 tbsp Jufran sweet chili sauce [Sauce]
- 1/2 tbsp orange juice concentrate (or 3tbsp fresh orange juice) [Sauce]
- 1/4 cup brown sugar [Sauce]
- 2 tsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1tbsp water [Sauce]
PROCEDURE:
1. Marinade chicken with fish sauce for 20 minutes.
2. Dip chicken slices in ice water, then roll in flour. Repeat twice. Deep-fry chicken in oil until golden brown. Set aside.
3. Combine remaining ingredients. Simmer until thick. Pour over chicken.
