Chicken in a Pot
INGREDIENTS
- 1-1/2 cups rice
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 2 Tbsp GOLDEN FIESTA Canola Oil
- 2 pc star anise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp ginger strips
- ½ kg chicken breast fillet, cubed
- 1 pc Chinese chorizo , sliced
- ½ pack (4 g) WOW Sarap All-in One Seasoning Granules
- 3 pc shiitake mushrooms (fresh/ dried)
- 100 g carrot, sliced
- 1 stalk leeks , sliced
- 2 Tbsp DATU PUTI Fish Sauce
- 1 tsp UFC Ground Pepper
SAUCE
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp DATU PUTI Oyster Sauce
- ¼ cup water
PROCEDURE
- Wash rice and drain. Add water and cook until done. Set aside, keep warm.
- Saute star anise until fragrant. Add garlic, ginger chorizo and chicken. Saute for 5 minutes or until cooked.
- Add WOW Sarap Seasonings , carrot, mushrooms (soak first if using dried), Datu Puti Fish Sauce and UFC Pepper. Cook for 3 minutes. Pour on top of rice.
- Combine ingredinets for sauce . Simmer for 1 minute. Pour over chicken then toss until well blended. Top with leeks .
Egg Foo Yong with Chicken Strips
INGREDIENTS
- 6 pc eggs
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 pc onion, sliced
- 1/4 kg chicken breast fillet , cut into strips
- 1 Tbsp DATU PUTI Oyster Sauce
- 1 Tbsp DATU PUTI Soy Sauce
- ½ pc each red and green bell pepper, sliced
- ½ tsp UFC Iodized Salt
- ¼ tsp UFC Ground Pepper
- 1 Tbsp sliced green onions
- ½ cup GOLDEN FIESTA Palm Oil
SAUCE :
- 1 Tbsp DATU PUTI Oyster Sauce
- 1 Tbsp DATU PUTI Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch , dissolved in ¼ cup water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
PROCEDURE
- Saute garlic, onion and chicken for 5 minutes. Add Datu Puti Oyster Sauce, Datu Puti Soy Sauce, UFC Salt, UFC Pepper and bell peppers. Cook for another 3 minutes.
- Beat eggs. Add chicken mixture . Scoop every ¼ cup and fry until golden. Set aside.
- Combine ingredients for sauce. Simmer until thicken. Pour over cooked eggs.
Chicken Kilawin
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 kg chicken breast fillet
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp DATU PUTI Soy Sauce
- 3 Tbsp GOLDEN FIESTA Palm Oil
- 3 Tbsp DATU PUTI Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 pc medium onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp chopped ginger
- ½ pc sili pansigang , sliced
- ½ pc sili labuyo , sliced
- ½ pc each red and green bell pepper, diced
- ½ pc lemon, (juiced)
- ½ tsp each UFC Iodized Salt and UFC Ground Pepper
PROCEDURE
- Mix chicken with brown sugar and Datu Puti Soy Sauce. Heat Golden Fiesta Oil in pan. Pan-grill chicken until brown on both sides. Cut into cubes .
- Mix remaining ingredients. Add chicken. Toss well.
