INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg beef short ribs
- 1/4 cup UFC Golden Fiesta Canola Oil
- 1 pc onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- 2 pcs sliced ginger
- 1.5 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 7 cups water
- 1 pc beef cube
- 3 pcs star anise
- 1/2 tsp five spice powder
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 pc UFC Laurel
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
- 3/4 cup Datu Puti White Vinegar [Marinade]
- 1/2 cup Datu Puti Soy Sauce [Marinade]
PROCEDURE:
1. Marinate beef for 15 minutes. Drain, reserve marinade. Brown in oil. Set aside.
2. Using the same oil, sauté onions and garlic. Add remaining ingredients except chives.
3. Put in a pressure cooker and cook for 30 minutes. Release pressure before opening the pot.
4. Drain meat and brown slightly in oil. Pour the desired amount of sauce.
5. Garnish with chives.
