INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 kg beef kalitiran, cut into chunks
- 1/4 cup Datu Puti Soy Sauce
- 1/2 pack UFC Ready Recipes Gata Mix, dissolved in ½ cup water
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pc medium onion, sliced [Paste]
- 1 tsp turmeric/ginger, minced [Paste]
- 1/4 tsp UFC Whole Pepper, cracked [Paste]
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed [Paste]
- 2 stalks tanglad (white part), diced [Paste]
- 2 pcs sili pansigang, sliced [Paste]
- 1 pc sili labuyo (optional) [Paste]
- 1 tsp UFC Sinigang sa Sampalok mix [Paste]
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional) [Paste]
- 1 Pickled red ginger (Optional, as needed)
PROCEDURE:
1. Season beef with soy sauce and. Set aside.
2. Pound paste ingredients until sticky. Mix with beef. Brown all sides of beef in oil. Add gata mix. Cover and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes or until tender. Add butter. Serve.
