INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 kg ground pork
- 1 pc onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp carrot, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh shiitake mushroom (if using dried, soak first), chopped
- 1 tsp five-spice powder
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp UFC Cracked Pepper
- 1/2 pack Wow Sarap all-in-one seasoning granules (4 g pack)
- 1 tbsp Silver Swan Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup shrimp, chopped
- 6 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 10 pcs large shrimp/prawn, peeled but retain tail, deveined
- 2 pcs egg, beaten, mixed with
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cups Golden Fiesta Palm Oil
PROCEDURE:
1. Combine ingredients for filling. Mix well. Divide mixture into 10 portions (about ¼ cup each). Chill.
2. Sprinkle shrimps with some flour. Coat each shrimp with meat mixture, leaving the tail visible.
3. Roll in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs. Deep-fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
