INGREDIENTS:
- 1.3 kg puso ng saging (2 pc) (red-saba variety)
- 2 packs all-in-one seasoning
- 1 pc small grated coconut (niyog)
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce (optional)
- 1 pc medium red onion, sliced
- 2 pcs medium tomatoes, seeded and sliced
- 1 pc sili haba, sliced (optional)
PROCEDURE:
1. Trim puso ng saging until almost white and soft part comes out. Cut each puso into four. Remove core of puso ng saging.
2. Boil puso in enough water with 1 pack all-in-one seasoning for 40 minutes or until tender.
3. Cut puso into chunks. Squeeze out water. Set aside.
4. Pour white vinegar into coconut. Squeeze to extract milk.
5. Heat coconut milk over low flame for 5 minutes (do not boil).
6. Add all-in-one seasoning, salt, pepper and hot sauce (optional). Pour coconut milk over puso ng saging.
7. Add tomatoes, onion and sili. Serve.
