INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 kg pork kasim, sliced [BBQ]
- 1/4 cup Datu Puti soy sauce [BBQ]
- 2 tbsp brown sugar [BBQ]
- 1/2 tsp UFC whole pepper [BBQ]
- 1 cup rice, washed once [Java Rice]
- 1 cup water [Java Rice]
- 1.5 tbsp UFC Hapi Fiesta cooking oil [Java Rice]
- 1.25 tbsp turmeric powder [Java Rice]
- 1/4 cup UFC banana catsup [Java Rice]
- 4 g Wow Sarap all-in-one seasoning granules [Java Rice]
- 1.5 tbsp margarine [Java Rice]
- 1.5 tbsp UFC Hapi Fiesta cooking oil
- 1.5 tbsp margarine
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp UFC banana catsup
- 1.25 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp UFC iodized salt
- 3 pcs UFC Laurel
PROCEDURE:
1. Combine ingredients for barbecue. Marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
2. Combine rice with water, oil, turmeric, banana catsup, and seasoning granules. Cover and simmer rice until just cooked. Add half of the margarine and mix.
3. Heat oil with margarine. Sauté garlic, then add remaining catsup. Simmer for 1 minute. Add cooked rice, salt, and bay leaves. Cook, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Set aside.
4. Charcoal-grill or pan-grill pork until cooked on both sides. Serve with java rice.
