INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 tsp Ginger Juice (From Pounded Fresh Ginger)
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1 tsp Calamansi Juice
- 1 pinch Of UFC Iodized Salt
- 1 pinch Of UFC Ground Pepper
- 1/4 kg Frozen Squid Rings, Thawed
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 2 pcs Eggwhites
- 1/2 cup Jufran Sweet Chili Sauce
- 3 tbsp UFC Banana Catsup
- 1 tbsp Salted Black Beans
- 1 tsp Jufran Red Hot Chili Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Ginger Juice
PROCEDURE:
1. Marinate: Combine marinade ingredients. Marinate squid for at least 1 hour in the ref.
2. Frying: Dredge squid in cornstarch. Dip in eggwhite, then back to cornstarch.
3. Deep-fry until golden brown.
4. Sauce: Mix sauce ingredients. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
5. Just before serving, toss fried squid until evenly coated. Serve.
