INGREDIENTS:
- 3 tbsp Banana catsup
- 2 tbsp Mushroom stock (From Canned Mushroom)
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 pc Hot Sauce (Optional)
- 2 cans Whole Mushrooms, Drained, reserve stock (400 g)
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Ice Water
- 1.33 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 pc Palm Oil (for frying)
- 1 Sheets Nori, Cut into Strips
- 1/4 cup Dried Shrims, Crushed
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
PROCEDURE:
1. Sauce: Combine ingredients for sauce. Cover and simmer for 2 minutes. Set aside.
2. Takoyaki: Roll mushrooms in flour. Set aside.
3. Combine remaining flour with cornstarch, ice water, and soy sauce.
4. Dip mushrooms in batter. Fry until brown.
5. Pour sauce over takoyaki. Top with nori, shrimps, and mayonnaise.
