INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups Rice
- 4 cups Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 700 grams Whole Chicken
- 1/4 cups Achuete Oil
- 2 tbsp Datu Puti Patis
- 1 pc Leek – sliced
- 1 tbsp White Pepper
- 2 pcs UFC Laurel
2 tbsp Datu Puti White Vinegar - 1 cup Diced Onions
PROCEDURE:
1. Saute chicken in oil until brown
2. Add all ingredients and set aside
3. For the rice: Wash rice twice in water to take off excess starch, then add salt
4. Add in water and cook rice in a pot
5. Then the rice is half cooked, bury chicken in rice and continue cooking
6. Check doneness of chicken and rice
