INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg Pork pata, cut up
- 1 cup Water, as needed
- 1 pouch Datu Puti Adobo series pininyahang sauce (180 ml)
- 1 pc Star anise
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar (optional)
- 1/4 cup Banana blossom (optional)
- 3 pcs Medium ripe saba banana, sliced and fried
PROCEDURE:
1. Boil pork pata for 5 minutes. Drain, discard broth.
2. Combine with remaining ingredients except banana blossom and saba. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until tender.
3. Add banana blossom. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add saba.
