INGREDIENTS:
- 3 tbsp palm oil
- 3 pcs garlic clove, crushed
- 1 pc medium onion, sliced
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric, sliced
- 3 stalks tanglad (white part), pounded
- 1 pc laurel leaf
- 2 pc sili pansigang, sliced
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 400 g large shrimp or prawn, half shelled and deveined
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp gata mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 stalks wansoy
PROCEDURE:
1. Sauté garlic, onion, turmeric, tanglad, laurel leaf, sili, and curry powder. Add shrimp. Sauté 3 minutes. Remove shrimp.
2. In the same pan, add hot sauce, fish sauce, gata mix, and ½ cup water. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add shrimp. Simmer until just cooked. Top with wansoy.
