INGREDIENTS:
- 100 g Pork, cut into strips
- 1 cup Washed rice
- 1.5 cup Water
- 2 tsp Datu Puti Fish Sauce
- 1 pack UFC Ready Recipes Kare-Kare Mix (45 g)
- 1/2 cup Water for dissolving Kare-Kare Mix
- 50 g Eggplant, sliced
- 50 g String beans, sliced
- 50 g Pechay, sliced
PROCEDURE:
1. In a rice cooker, add pork, washed rice, water and fish sauce.
2. Cover rice cooker. Plug and press cook.
3. While cooking, dissolve UFC Ready Recipes Kare-Kare Mix in water.
4. After 10 minutes or when rice is almost cooked, add dissolved Kare-kare mixture, eggplant, string beans, and pechay.
5. Simmer for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
6. Unplug rice cooker to prevent it from burning.
7. Mix and enjoy!
*Note: Rice cup, commonly known as takal, is a 180 mL cup usually included with rice cookers.
