INGREDIENTS:
- 1500 g pork ribs, cut up
- 1/2 tbsp UFC Iodized salt
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 6 tbsp Datu Puti White Vinegar
- 4 cups water
- 1.25 cups all-purpose flour [Batter]
- 1 pack Golden Fiesta Big Crunch breading mix [Batter]
- 2 cups meat broth [Batter]
- 1 bottle Jufran sweet chili sauce [Sauce]
- 6 tbsp Datu Puti oyster sauce [Sauce]
- 1/2 cup brown sugar [Sugar]
- 1 tsp ginger, grated [Sauce]
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder [Sauce]
- 3 pcs star anise [Sauce]
PROCEDURE:
1. Combine pork and seasoning ingredients in a pot with water. Let it boil and simmer until tender. Drain.
2. Mix batter ingredients. Add pork and coat all pieces. Deep fry until golden brown.
3. Simmer sauce ingredients for about 8-10 minutes or until thick. Add fried pork and toss. If desired, simmer for a few minutes until slightly dry.
