Stir Fry Bok Choy

INGREDIENTS

250 g bok choy, cut in half

2 tbsp Golden Fiesta Canola Oil

1 tbsp garlic, minced

5 tbsp Datu Puti Oyster Sauce

 

Garnish (Optional)

1 tbsp chili oil

1 tbsp fried garlic bits

 

PROCEDURE

  1. Clean the bok choy under running water to remove dirt. Then set aside.
  2. In a pot, boil 2 Lt of water over medium high heat and proceed to blanch the bok choy for 2 to 4 minutes then set aside on an ice bath to prevent overcooking.
  3. In a pan, add canola oil and sauté minced garlic for 1 to 2 minutes over medium low heat. Once the garlic is fragrant but not burnt, add the blanched bok choy and oyster sauce then stir for 2 minutes or until the bok choy is well coated with oyster sauce.
  4. Serve on a platter and garnish with chili oil and fried garlic bits.
