Super Mechado

Ingredients:

  1. ½ kg beef round , cut into chunks
  2. 150 g pork fat, cut into chunks
  3. 150 g potatoes, cut itno chunks and fried
  4. 8 pc sibuyas Tagalog, peeled
  5. 8 pc sibuyas Tagalog, peeled
  6. 1 pouch (200 g)  UFC Ready Recipes Mechado Sauce
  7. 1 pc red bell pepper, sliced
  8. ¼ cup GOLDEN FIESTA Palm Oil

Marinade:

  1. 1 tsp DATU PUTI Soy Sauce
  2. 1 tsp calamansi juice
  3. 1 tsp calamansi juice

Procedure:

  • 1. Marinate beef and pork fat for 1 hour in the refrigerator.  Brown in Golden Fiesta oil .  Set aside.
  • 2. In the remaining oil, saute sibuyas. Add 1 cup water and remaining ingredients except potatoes and bell pepper.   Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally , adding more water as needed.
  • 3. Add potatoes and bell pepper. Serve .
