INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 kg fresh fish fillet, cut into cubes (or whole fish)
- 1/2 tbsp Datu Puti Cane Vinegar
- 1/2 pack Wow Sarap all-in-one seasoning granules (4 g pack)
- 1/4 cup Golden Fiesta Big Crunch Breading Mix
- 1 can pinapple tidbits, drained, reserve syrup (227 g)
- 1 pc medium red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 stalk leeks, sliced
- 1 Golden Fiesta Palm/Canola Oil (for frying)
- 1 pc egg [Batter]
- 1/4 cup Golden Fiesta Big Crunch breading mix [Batter]
- 1/2 tsp Wow Sarap all-in-one seasoning granules [Batter]
- 1/4 cup old water [Batter]
- 3/4 cup UFC Banana Catsup [Sauce]
- 1/4 cup Datu Puti Cane Vinegar [Sauce]
- 1/2 cup sugar [Sauce]
- 1 pack Wow Sarap all-in-one seasoning granules (4 g) [Sauce]
- 1/2 tsp UFC Ground Pepper [Sauce]
- 1/4 cup cornstarch, dissolved in pineapple syrup [Sauce]
- 1.5 cups meat broth or water [Sasuce]
PROCEDURE:
1. Season fish with cane vinegar and all-in-one seasoning granules. Dredge in breading mix. Set aside.
2. Beat egg. Add remaining ingredients for batter. Mix well. Then add fish.
3. Fry in preheated oil until golden brown. Set aside.
4. Combine sauce ingredients. Simmer while stirring until thicken. Add pineapple, bell pepper, and leeks. Pour over fish just before serving.
