INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg chicken, cut into portions [Chicken]
- 2 l Golden Fiesta Palm Oil [Chicken]
- 1 tbsp UFC Iodized Salt [Batter]
- 1/2 tsp UFC Ground Pepper [Batter]
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced [Batter]
- 1 tbsp calamansi juice [Batter]
- 1 cup flour [Batter]
- 1/2 cup cornstarch [Batter]
- 1/2 cup old water [Batter]
- 3/4 cup UFC Banana Catsup [Glaze]
- 1/2 cup brown sugar [Glaze]
- 1/4 cup Datu Puti Soy Sauce [Glaze]
- 1/4 cup butter/margarine [Glaze]
PROCEDURE:
1. Combine all ingredients for batter. Add chicken, let it stand for 10 minutes. Deep fry until golden brown.
2. Simmer glaze ingredients until thickened. Toss with fried chicken just before serving.
