Lechon Paksiw

Whether it is leftover lechon or lechon made from scratch, nothing beats the flavors of a good paksiw. Enjoy this easy-from-scratch recipe that will surely become one of your all-time favorites.

  1. 2 Tbps Golden Fiesta Palm Oil
  2. 3 Tbps Garlic, minced
  3. 1 Kilo Pork pata cut into serving pieces
  4. ½  tsp Ground black pepper
  5. 1 Tbps  Datu Puti Soy Sauce
  6. ¼ cup Datu Puti Vinegar
  7. 1 cup Mang Tomas All-Around Sarsa
  8. 2 pcs  Bay leaf
  9. 5 cups Water


  • 1 Heat Golden Fiesta Palm Oil in a deep casserole. Sauté garlic.
  • 2 Add pork and brown on all sides. Cook until  juices run clear.
  • 3 Add ground black pepper, Datu Puti Soy Sauce, Datu Puti Vinegar, Mang Tomas All-Around Sarsa, bay leaf and water. Bring to a boil and  simmer over low heat for about 1 ½ hours until pork is tender.
  • 4 Serve hot.
